Fees, standards & your responsibilities.

20% marketplace fee. On a $100 USD item total, Secret Energy retains $20 and the seller allocation is $80 before refunds, reversals or applicable external account charges. Eligible payouts are processed separately in manual batches—not instantly at checkout. Read rates & payout terms.

Know the checkout limits. Checkout does not add separate shipping or tax charges, so include shipping in the listed price and meet the tax obligations that apply to you. Digital products use private uploads and automatic file access after payment, without shipping or tracking. Set clear license terms and review regional digital-tax obligations before launch.

Approval is conditional. Secret Energy reserves the right to refuse any store or product, require changes, or remove, restrict or suspend a store or listing at any time, at its sole discretion and where permitted by law. Prior approval does not guarantee continued listing. Read refusal & removal rights.

Claim your shop.

Start with your shop name and a link of your own. Submitting an application creates a private draft—you do not need approval to begin building.

  1. 1.Open Store Builder and enter a shop name of at least two characters.
  2. 2.Choose an available vanity link: 3–30 lowercase letters, numbers or single hyphens. Do not start or end with a hyphen.
  3. 3.Describe what you make or curate, accept the seller terms, then select Submit application.

Your application enters Review pending. You can return to the builder and keep working while the team reviews it.

Give your store a home.

Help a visitor understand who you are, what you offer and what to expect after ordering.

  1. 1.Upload a wide banner (3:1), a square logo (1:1) and, optionally, your photo (4:5).
  2. 2.Add your Store Name, Tagline, Your Story and Location. Choose USD, EUR, GBP, CAD or AUD from the currency menu.
  3. 3.Write clear Shipping & Returns policies and add full HTTPS links for your Instagram, TikTok or website.
  4. 4.In Your Editorial Portrait, add Creator Name, Editorial Headline, Portraits & Lifestyle, Your Personal Story, Creative Philosophy and A Glimpse of Your Life. This creates a dedicated creator story page linked from your shop; it is separate from the short storefront story.
  5. 5.Checkout adds no separate shipping or tax line. Include any shipping charge in the listed price and meet the tax obligations that apply to you.

Details save automatically. Wait for Saved at the top of the builder before leaving, and resolve any displayed save error.

Put your first piece on the shelf.

You can add, edit and arrange your products while approval is pending. An Active product in a draft shop is still private.

  1. 1.Select Add Product. Upload clear images—the first image is the cover. Use Make cover on another image to change it.
  2. 2.Enter a Title, choose a Category and set a Price greater than zero. Add a Description, optional Compare-at price and Tags; use Add or Enter to save each tag.
  3. 3.For limited stock, enable Track inventory for this product and enter Quantity available as a whole number. Zero tracked stock marks the product Sold Out.
  4. 4.Choose Active, Sold Out or Hidden, then select Add Product. Later, use the pencil to edit, arrows to reorder and trash to delete.

Before activating a listing, follow the relevant Apparel & Variations, Jewelry Specifications, Jewelry & Custom Designs or Digital Assets section. Product changes require Add Product or Save; unlike storefront details, they do not autosave.

Offer Every Size, Color & Print.

Finished-shirt variations let buyers choose exactly what they want. Every size × color × print combination has separate stock, a price, a SKU and an optional product photo.

  1. 1.Start with the listing basics: choose Physical Product, select Clothing & Apparel, upload clear cover and detail photos, enter a title and set a starting price. The starting price is copied only into newly generated combinations; each combination keeps its own final selling price.
  2. 2.Enable Product Variations. Name the one to three dimensions you need, such as Size, Color and Print Placement; remove unused dimensions before generating combinations. Enter comma-separated choices for each, then select Add Combinations. Example: S, M, L; Black, White; Front Graphic, Back Graphic, Front & Back. The builder creates every size × color × print combination, up to 250 per listing.
  3. 3.Review every generated combination. Keep or replace its unique SKU, set a positive price, enter whole-number finished stock, assign one of the listing photos and leave Offer This Combination enabled only when that exact shirt can be sold. New combinations begin at zero stock and therefore show as Sold Out.
  4. 4.Add fabric percentages, fit, print method, care and country of origin. Build the garment size chart in inches or centimeters using supplier-confirmed measurements. Chest width is measured flat from armpit to armpit and body length from shoulder to hem; changing the unit label does not convert existing numbers.
  5. 5.Complete fulfillment details: dispatch within 1–15 calendar days, estimated transit, destinations or restrictions, customs information, packed weight and dimensions, and size-exchange/return terms. Checkout adds no separate shipping or tax line, so account for applicable costs in each combination price and keep the listing consistent with your store policies.
  6. 6.Save, open Preview and test each available path as a buyer: size, color, print placement, matching photo, exact price, SKU, quantity limit and sold-out options. The buyer must complete every dimension you configured before checkout, and the selected combination is preserved in the order. Dimension names lock as soon as combinations are generated; choose those names first.

This is a finished-stock model, not a blank-shirt or made-to-order calculator. Stock is reserved when checkout begins and restored when an unpaid checkout expires or an eligible order is cancelled or refunded. Low Stock means 1–3 units. Once saved, a combination cannot be removed or have its option names rewritten because existing orders may reference it; disable it, then add the replacement. If another sale changes stock while you are editing, close and reopen the product before saving.

Describe Every Jewelry Detail.

Jewelry & Accessories uses the standard Description field for specifications; there is no separate jewelry-specification form. Describe fixed facts there, then use variations or custom options only for buyer choices.

  1. 1.Choose Physical Product and Jewelry & Accessories. In Description, list the base metal, purity when known, plating or coating, finish, and gemstone identity. Disclose synthetic stones, treatments and natural variations when applicable; make only claims you can substantiate.
  2. 2.State pendant height, width and thickness separately, with units on every measurement. Explain whether height includes the bail. Add item weight, chain length and adjustability, clasp type, and whether a chain is included. For rings, name the sizing system and explain how buyers should measure.
  3. 3.Include front, back, side and scale-reference photos. Show the clasp, bail, stone setting and any engraving area. Identify mockups or illustrative images and do not use them to misrepresent the actual materials, size or finish.
  4. 4.Describe care, cleaning, storage, packaging and any verified material or sensitivity information. Avoid unsupported claims such as hypoallergenic or guaranteed healing. Clearly state whether the piece is ready to ship or made to order, with handling, delivery and return expectations consistent with store policies.
  5. 5.Use Product Variations for up to three choices with their own price or stock, such as Ring Size, Metal and Stone. Put unchanging measurements in Description rather than creating unnecessary dimensions. Use Custom Options for engraving or artwork that does not need its own inventory.

Units are descriptive, not a conversion tool. Write 2 Inches or 50 mm explicitly and verify every measurement. Custom work must still be shipped with genuine tracking within 15 days of payment, or sooner if your listing promises it; personalized items do not lose mandatory buyer protections.

Make Jewelry & Custom Work Your Own.

Use variations for inventory-backed choices and Custom Options for instructions, engraving, materials and private artwork. Both travel with the order.

  1. 1.Choose Physical Product and Jewelry & Accessories. Enable Product Variations, name one to three dimensions such as Pendant Height, Pendant Width or Chain Length, then enter comma-separated choices and Add Combinations. Every combination has its own price, SKU, photo and stock, with a maximum of 250 combinations per listing. Name dimensions before generating combinations; names lock at generation. For made-to-order work, stock is available production capacity; the existing 15-day shipping deadline still applies.
  2. 2.Set each combination price and quantity. A 2-inch pendant may cost 120 while another dimension costs 140. New combinations start at zero stock. The main Price only seeds newly generated combinations; the storefront shows the lowest offered price, and Compare-at is not used for variations. Saved combinations are preserved for order history: disable a combination instead of deleting it. Use Add Combinations to add choices under the existing dimension names without overwriting existing stock or prices.
  3. 3.Add up to five Custom Options. Choose Text Box for material instructions or engraving; List Of Options for chain color; File Upload for artwork. Give each a unique title of up to 45 characters, Buyer Instructions of up to 120 characters, a required/optional setting and an optional add-on price. List choices and upload slot names go one per line; variation choices use commas. Move Up and Move Down control the order buyers see. Text limits are 1–1024 characters, lists have up to 50 choices, and uploads have one or two named slots such as Front and Back.
  4. 4.Artwork stays private. Buyers sign in and upload PNG, JPG, WebP or PDF files up to 10 MB each; vector artwork should be exported as PDF. Required uploads need every slot. Optional uploads are skipped by leaving all slots empty; if selected, every slot must be completed. Only submit files you have permission to use.
  5. 5.Expand Preview Buyer Options to try text and list selections; file uploads are intentionally disabled and nothing is purchased or uploaded. Select Add Product or Save, reopen the listing to confirm it saved, then check the storefront. Required choices must be completed before checkout. Each selected custom field adds its charge once per item, regardless of how many upload slots it has. Quantities share the same personalization; purchase different personalized versions separately. The server validates choices and prices again before payment.
  6. 6.After payment, open Orders in Store Builder and choose Contact Buyer. Buyers use Message Shop Owner in My Orders. Discuss specifications and exchange up to two private attachments per message. New messages create in-app notifications; they are not email or mobile push alerts. Original selections, artwork and charges remain recorded with the purchase.
  7. 7.Use Prepare Private Download to access order artwork or conversation attachments. Links expire after one minute; prepare a fresh link if needed. Treat all received files as untrusted and scan before opening. Messages do not alter the paid price, refund terms or shipping deadline; arrange any revised purchase through the marketplace rather than requesting off-platform payment.

Customization fields do not create separate stock. If a metal, gemstone, finish or other choice needs its own inventory or combination-specific price, use a variation dimension instead. Custom work must fit the marketplace shipping policy; do not promise a longer production window than it allows.

Deliver Digital Work Privately.

Music, ebooks, videos and file collections are sold as one-time digital licenses. Files stay private, and paid buyers retrieve them from My Orders through short-lived links.

  1. 1.Choose Digital Download as the Product Type. The category switches to Digital Downloads and inventory tracking is removed. Select Music & Audio, Ebooks & Written Guides, Music Video & Film or Other Digital Files as the format label; this label does not convert the file. Music and video releases gain extra release controls, covered in Music Releases & Pre-Sales.
  2. 2.Add a cover image, title, description, one-time price and any genuine compare-at price. Explain the file format, compatibility, required software, edition contents and what the buyer will receive. Digital products allow one license per purchase and must be purchased separately from physical products.
  3. 3.Under Private Delivery Files, upload 1–10 different files, each no larger than 25 MB. Accepted formats are PDF, EPUB, MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, OGG, MP4 and ZIP. Upload the actual finished file with the correct extension; delivery files are private and are not the same as public product images.
  4. 4.Write clear License & Usage Terms covering permitted personal or commercial use, devices or users, modification, attribution and redistribution restrictions. Add a Message To Purchasers for opening instructions or a thank-you, but never paste a private file link. Confirm that you own or hold distribution rights and that the files contain no malware or prohibited content.
  5. 5.Use Preview Buyer Email before saving. It creates no purchase and sends no email. A Hidden draft can be saved without delivery files, but an Active or Sold Out digital listing requires at least one valid private file, license terms and the rights confirmation.
  6. 6.After confirmed payment, the buyer receipt points to My Orders; files are not attached to email. The buyer selects Prepare Download to create a one-minute private link and can return for a fresh link. No address, shipping or tracking is required. Replacing or removing listing files affects future purchases only; existing orders preserve the purchased file edition, terms and purchaser message.
  7. 7.Monitor Digital Delivery in Seller Orders. Buyer and seller receipt status is shown there, with a retry available after the displayed waiting period when delivery remains pending. Undisputed proceeds become payout-eligible after 15 days or earlier buyer confirmation. Refunds and disputes pause or revoke new download access; files already downloaded cannot be recalled.

Digital delivery is not DRM, recurring billing or automated tax compliance. Keep your own master-file backup, test every file before launch, disclose compatibility accurately and review the tax and consumer-right requirements that apply where you sell. Never use a public upload or purchaser message as a substitute for Private Delivery Files.

Release Music, Previews & Pre-Sales.

Albums, EPs, singles, live recordings and music videos are sold as digital downloads with release metadata, a tracklist and optional pre-sale. The Listening Room adds a public preview player to your storefront.

  1. 1.Choose Digital Download, then set Digital Format to Music & Audio for audio releases or Music Video & Film for video releases. Release Metadata appears only for these two formats. Release Type offers Single, EP, Album, Mixtape and Live Recording for audio; Music Video and Live Recording for video.
  2. 2.Complete Release Metadata: Artist, Release Type, Genre (pick a suggestion or type your own), Original Release Date, Record Label and UPC / Catalog No. Tick Contains Explicit Content when it applies. Every field is optional and is shown to listeners as liner notes on the product page; codes are informational and never change your files.
  3. 3.Build the Tracklist with Add Track, up to 40 tracks. Enter each Track Title, its length as minutes:seconds (3:45) and an optional ISRC. Tracks appear in the order entered; use the X to remove one. The product page totals the runtime from the lengths you provide. Add producers, mixers and featured artists under Credits. The Tracklist is text only — it has no audio upload.
  4. 4.Upload the actual songs further down the same editor, under Private Delivery Files: select Upload Delivery File and add one file per track or a single ZIP of the whole release (up to 10 files, 25 MB each; MP3, WAV, FLAC, M4A, OGG, MP4 or ZIP). For full albums in WAV or FLAC, a ZIP is usually the easiest way to stay within the limit. Buyers download these from My Orders after payment, or at release for a pre-sale.
  5. 5.To sell before release, turn on Launch As A Pre-Sale. Set a Release Date & Time in the future (your local time) and an optional Pre-Sale Message of up to 500 characters. Buyers see a Pre-Order button and release notice, pay in full now, and receive a pre-order confirmation email. Files unlock automatically in My Orders at the release time, followed by a delivery email.
  6. 6.A pre-sale listing can be Active without delivery files, but upload the finished masters under Private Delivery Files before the release time. Seller Orders shows Pre-Order with the release time; after release passes, pending orders are delivered with the files attached to the listing at that moment. Payout eligibility begins 15 days after delivery, not at payment. When release passes, the listing sells as a normal download.
  7. 7.For previews, open Store Builder → The Listening Room. Select Upload A Sample to add a short audio clip (up to 20 MB, up to 12 samples). Edit each sample’s title and artist, add square cover art, choose Linked Release so listeners can buy or pre-order from the player, and reorder with the arrows. Turn on the switch to show the player on your storefront; it saves automatically.
  8. 8.Preview your storefront and product page as a listener: play every sample, check the tracklist, liner notes, pre-order date and button label, then confirm the buyer email with Preview Buyer Email before activating the listing.

Listening Room samples are public — anyone can play them — so never upload full-quality masters there; sell those only as Private Delivery Files. Upload only music you own or are licensed to distribute, including samples and cover art. Pre-orders are paid immediately: if you cannot deliver by the release time, contact buyers and arrange refunds through the marketplace rather than moving the date silently.

Create & Review Your Store Assets.

Asset Studio is an optional credit-based tool for creating logos, artwork and product imagery. It does not create a product listing or publish a generated image for you.

  1. 1.Under Choose Your Preset, select the type of asset you need. Complete the creative brief and supply the reference or graphic requested by that preset. Use only images and designs you have permission to use; never upload private buyer artwork without permission.
  2. 2.Choose Canvas Ratio, Background and Number Of Images (one to four). Transparent Alpha is useful for isolated artwork; Opaque Background is useful for complete scenes. Outputs are PNG files; inspect the result rather than assuming every requested detail is accurate.
  3. 3.Review Maximum Reservation before selecting Reserve & Generate. This is a spending cap, not a fixed charge. The displayed pricing is actual generation cost × 2.5, with one credit equal to $0.01; unused reserved credits are returned. Use Add Credits or the Credits balance control when needed.
  4. 4.Find completed work under Recent Assets, which shows the latest 12 requests for the store and their charged and returned credits. Download PNG to keep a copy, Use As Reference for a later creation, or Use In T-Shirt Mockup to prepare a mockup brief.
  5. 5.Check lettering, proportions, jewelry details, transparency and likeness to the real product. Download the chosen PNG and upload it through the appropriate product or storefront image control, then save the product or wait for storefront Saved. Assets are never attached to listings automatically.

Generated imagery is not proof of product specifications, ownership or manufacturing readiness. Keep accurate product photos and verified measurements; label illustrative mockups and avoid misleading buyers.

Keep building while we review.

The approval gate controls going public—not your ability to prepare your shop. There is no need to stop adding products while you wait.

  1. 1.Review pending means your application is waiting for the team. Your store stays private.
  2. 2.Application needs changes means you should read the review note, make the requested changes and contact support as directed in the panel.
  3. 3.Seller approved clears the review requirement. A saved payout email is still required to publish; Selling paused means the store remains private until the review is resolved.

Approval does not publish your store automatically. You choose when to go live once both requirements are met.
